I’ve had the good fortune of working with Todd Fisher (son of Debbie Reynolds and Eddie Fisher; brother of Carrie Fisher) for many years. He’s an exciting talent and a skilled storyteller with many credits to his own name. Many years ago, while his mother was a famous actress at MGM Studios, Todd used to play on the famous studio back lot as a young boy. It was a huge complex across 44 acres and had 31 sound stages.

Today, over 40 years later, Todd has constructed his own sprawling cutting edge, h-tech motion picture studio and back lot housing several creative businesses and motion picture companies. The sound stage is affectionately called, STAGE 32, in tribute to the 31 MGM sound stages where many famous movies were made. His production company, Hollywood Motion Picture Experience Productions, is preparing to produce a slate of motion picture films for modern audiences. Here’s a promo that better explains what HMPE is all about.

I have been awarded the privilege of being the Head Writer and the upcoming project roster is exciting! I’m going to keep you posted about the happenings as they continue to unfold. I’ll include some interviews (video and text) with some of the talented folks I’m working with, so stay tuned and look for the blog posts in the HMPE category.

Best and brightest to you
– Jon.
